TOMORROW’S 100 …

A Leadership Development Program For Young Men

The Tomorrow’s 100 … program is designed to provide constructive, educational, cultural, civic, recreational, and social activities for high school juniors and seniors.

The program covers the following subject areas:

Basic Communications -- This is not a Grammar training session but is designed to help students design and send clear messages both orally and in writing.

Public Speaking -- Discusses the parts of an effective speech and the things that affect a speech. Environment, age, culture, subject, and especially distractions by the speaker.

Core Values … Discusses both Personal and National Core values, what they are, where values come from and their affect on our decision-making.

Controlling AngerDiscusses and explores anger as a controllable

Emotion.  Also explores various types of anger and its benefits …if any.

Creative Problem Solving explores problem solving with the end results in mind.

Financial responsibility  Discusses credit and the effective use of credit, investing, checkbooks, credit card, early retirement planning etc…

Men’s Health Issues ---Discusses the specific health concerns of men with a focus on African American men. 

Sexual Harassment … extensive discussion on questionable behaviors, remedies, legal requirements etc.

Etiquettediscusses formal table settings, public displays of affection. Respect for elders, women, public officials etc.

Spirituality --- This program would not be complete without a session on Spirituality.

The spirituality session discuses the spiritual side of man and is normally conducted by a local minister.  This is a non-denominational training session.

The culminating activity for this program is our Annual “Beautillion Militaire and Formal Dinner.  At this function the young men are presented to the Pensacola community as being ready to move on to the next level of becoming successful.
